We are about to enjoy an auspicious and magical Black New Moon Solar Eclipse in Taurus on Saturday April 30th 2022!
The Black Moon signifies a second New Moon within the same calendar month and an Eclipse happens when the Earth, Sun and Moon line up exactly in the Sky. During a Solar Eclipse the New Moon travels exactly between the Earth and Sun, thus covering the Sun either partially or fully. We won’t be able to see tomorrow’s Solar Eclipse here in North America or Europe, but it will be seen in the southeast Pacific, southern South America, Antarctica and the Atlantic.
Eclipses are very powerful times globally for all, whether visible in the Sky, or not. Due to the alignment of our Heavenly Bodies, it is said that the veil is thin between the Worlds, karmic stories come in to play and drastic changes occur in peoples’ lives. Solar Eclipses always happen on New Moons, and the new moon is a signification of New Beginnings.

Saturday’s Eclipse is happening at 10° Taurus thus we can look for the Taurean significations for where our New Seeds will be planted - with or without our focused attention. Taurus, the Bull, is a Fixed Earth sign, asking us to slooow down, ground ourselves, open our senses to the world around and tend our beautiful Mother Earth!
Taurus loves the good things in life: soft and silky comforts, rich foods and gourmet delicacies, beautiful art and sensual pleasures. It is easy to fall into indulgent consumption under Taurean influences.
