Capricorn Moon conjunct Pluto

Hello Dear Astrology Friends,

We are certainly living in tumultuous times. I can’t help but correlate the global tech outage that happened today which disrupted bank operations, grounded flights, delayed public transports and made medical facilities cancel surgeries around the World, to be part of the aftermath of the Mars-Uranus conjunction that occurred earlier this week.  At 25 degrees Taurus, the conjunction happened with fixed star Algol which is known to cause chaos.

As an outer planet Uranus rules the collective, technology and the unexpected. Mars activates and hits hard anything it touches, while the sign Taurus rules things we consider constant and dependable, our value systems and of course, money. Ironically the name of the U.S. cybersecurity firm in the middle of all the mayhem is called “CrowdStrike” – how synchronistic with the meanings of Uranus-Mars!

Things will just keep getting more intense through the weekend as the Sun is waxing into an opposition with Pluto and is being revved up by the Capricorn Full Moon coming up on Sunday.

Capricorn Full Moon on July 21st, 2024, San Francisco, CA, 3:17 A.M. P.S.T.

As always, the Full Moon brings things into illumination, and the Moon’s close conjunction to Pluto is literally shining a light on Hades, The Lord of the Underworld. Pluto rules hidden secrets, skeletons in the closet, obsessions, fear, death, rebirth and ultimately transformation.

The Moon at the last degree of Capricorn, insinuates bringing to light stories that are at their very end.  Capricorn rules old institutions, the elderly, the uniformed authorities and government agencies. There are endings coming for some old structures we have held certain for a while. On the other hand, when one door closes, another can open, so new beginnings are around the corner.

The Full Moon is in a sextile to Neptune, also at a last degree, but in Pisces, implying that not everything on display is what it seems. Neptune blurs things and causes confusion, it rules deceit, but also fantasy and transcendence. In other words, whatever is brought to our attention over this Full Moon, must be taken with a grain of salt.

The Moon-Pluto conjunction makes a trine to the Uranus-Mars conjunction which brings those unexpected hard-hitting surprises as well as brilliant insights.  Though by Sunday, Mars will just have entered Gemini, thus stirring up gossip and possible attacks of misinformation coming through the media and social media outlets.

Mercury, who is already in its shadow retrograde period, makes a quincunx to the Full Moon and square to Mars-Uranus, implying communication is going a bit haywire! Mercury stations retrograde on August 5th through August 28th, so definitely try to finalize decisions before August 5th, or then try to wait till after the 28th of August.

A great way to use this upcoming Full Moon energy could be spending it in your garden, weeding out the old dead plants, and planting in new seeds! Wishing you all a transformative Full Moon weekend.

XOXO
